- 6 ounces packet of cornbread mix

- 2 to 4 cups chicken cooked and shredded
- ยฝ cups chicken broth
- 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 2 large eggs
- ยฝ tsp pepper
- ยผ cup butter melted
Instructions
Start by making the cornbread according to the directions on the package. Let the cornbread cool before proceeding further. If needed, you can bake the cornbread a day ahead.
Once the cornbread has cooled, crumble the cornbread and add the remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Mix it well and pour it into a baking dish. Bake it for about 50 minutes in a preheated (375 degrees) oven.

I had no idea, either, until I got the heart dish. Here is a little information about baking in the dishes from the Wilton Armetale website: You can cook, bake, broil, grill, chill and serve in almost all of our products. We suggest that you put a thin coat of oil on your piece before doing any this to keep the piece from staining. The only pieces you can not use for cooking are pieces with black paint in the cooking surface of the pieces like the bread trays. Those pieces are only for serving.
That is really a beautiful piece. I wouldn’t have thought to cook something like that in it, but I love the idea!
