Sharing is caring!

Imagine biting into a fudgy brownie with ribbons of rich chocolate and creamy dulce de leche swirled throughout—pure indulgence in every bite! These Chocolate and Dulce de Leche Brownies are so gooey and decadent, they should be illegal. The best part? They’re ridiculously easy to make, thanks to a little shortcut.

Slices of brownies with caramel swirl on aluminum foil.

Ingredients

All you need is a box of Betty Crocker Supreme Triple Chunk Brownie Mix, plus two simple additions: luscious chocolate syrup and rich dulce de leche (or caramel sauce). That’s it!

Look for Dulce de Leche in the Latin section of most grocery stores or where condensed milk is sold. If you cannot find it, you can use caramel sauce.

How To Make Chocolate and Dulce de Leche Brownies

  1. Preheat oven to 350° Fahrenheit. Line an 8-inch square baking dish with aluminium foil. Lightly spray the pan with non-stick spray.
  2. Prepare brownie mix according to directions on the box. Pour brownie mix into prepared pan.
  1. The magic happens when you add the swirl! Drizzle chocolate syrup in three even rows across the brownie batter. Then, turn the pan and drizzle three more lines of dulce de leche perpendicular to the chocolate. Grab a spoon or skewer and gently swirl the sauces into the batter, creating a marbled effect. This step makes each brownie a masterpiece!
  1. The brownies should be ready to bake now. Just follow the directions on the back of the box for the baking time.

What is Dulce de Leche?

Dulce de leche, meaning “sweet milk” in Spanish, is a creamy, caramel-like treat that originated in Latin America. It’s made by slowly simmering sweetened milk until it thickens, turns golden, and becomes irresistibly rich. Think of it as caramel’s silkier, more luxurious cousin!

Brownies are something I can eat all day. I make them and they sorta disappear by the time they’d be cooled down, lol. I can’t imagine all the extra chocolate and caramel added to that guilty pleasure

OMG, I was stuffed I couldn’t try these at the party, so I took some home and they were well worth the wait, I’m so glad I saved them for later.

Thank you so much for bringing them, I’ll keep an eye out of the other treat you brought – my son LOVED them!!!

    Thanks!

    1. Thank you for bringing that incredible Key Lime pie. I think I could have eaten the bottom layer alone. That was so incredibly luscious. (The recipe for the cinnamon biscuits should be up Thursday.)

Brownies are my biggest weakness (Nutella is a close 2nd)! That’s the reason I don’t make them very often because I cannot resist them. 🙂

    1. Girl, I confess that I did scrape out the bowl with my pink spatula and licked up the delicious little bit that was left in the bowl. 😉
