Marriage Can Be Murder Dinner Theater

Welcome to Marriage Can Be Murder, the longest-running dinner show in Las Vegas, Nevada! It’s an interactive murder-mystery dinner show that combines suspense, humor, and dinner for an unforgettable evening of entertainment.

As the audience settles in for a night of intrigue, they become a part of the action โ€“ gathering clues, interacting with quirky characters, and putting their sleuthing skills to crack the case.

While on a trip to Las Vegas several years ago, we were guests at Marriage Can Be Murder.  I have to admit, attending the show was the most fun we experienced during our trip to Las Vegas.  And I say “experienced” because it is a dinner theater and the auience members take part in solving a mystery, or two.  As I mentioned above, it is an interactive experience.

Wacky Characters and a Murder Mystery

The fun started even before the show began when our maรฎtre d’ came out to the line of people waiting for the performance to take our meal order.  There were three choices:  Chicken Marsala, Beef Brisket, or Pasta Marinara.

Once inside the venue, we took our seats. The maรฎtre d mingled among the guests and encouraged us to get to know our table mates.  She also had some of us pose with others for pictures.  Little did we know, those pictures would later become evidence for the mystery that would soon unfold!

Good Food and a Murderously Good Time

We started our meals with salad and drinks.

Next thing we knew, the unexpected occurred โ€“ one of the diners met an unfortunate end. It was all part of the murderous fun! As the story unfolded, two more characters soon joined the ranks of the deceased, adding to the intrigue of the evening.

Even with all of the mayhem occurring, the servers brought us our main course.

A policeman came in and questioned the audience.  With the assistance of the hostess, Bertie, he questioned possible suspects.  Before the end of the evening, we learned who the murderer was and his/her motive.

I would love to tell you more, but that might ruin the plot. Marriage Can Be Murder storylines and characters change every 3 months, so there will always be a new story to enjoy when you are in Las Vegas.

The actors are seriously impressive at what they do. From the nosy hostess, always thinking on her toes, to the audio whiz running the show behind the scenes, they all bring their A-game to make the experience truly engaging and entertaining.
