Instructions
Prepare the Cake
Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the cake mix box.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, oil, and water until well mixed. Follow the directions on the box to bake a 9x13-inch cake.
Pour the batter into a greased cake tin and bake according to the box instructions.
Let the cake cool completely at room temperature.
Make the Cake Pops
Once the cake has cooled, crumble it into fine crumbs using your hands or a food processor with a paddle attachment.
Add 1/4 cup of vanilla frosting to the cake crumbs and mix until everything holds together when pressed.
Scoop out small portions of the cake mixture using a cookie scoop and roll them into balls. Place the cake balls on a parchment-lined cookie sheet and freeze for 15-20 minutes until firm.
Decorate the Cake Pops
Melt the pink candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler according to package instructions. If using the microwave, be sure not to overcook the chocolate melts.
Dip the tip of a cake pop stick into the melted candy coating and insert it into the center of the cake ball.
Dip the entire cake pop into the candy coating, letting the excess coating drip off before placing it in a styrofoam block to set.
While the coating is still wet, sprinkle with white sprinkles. Let the cake pops set completely at room temperature or in the fridge.
