These thick and hearty pork chops are amazing! They're reminiscent of juicy steak, but with a little something extra that makes them so tasty. The spice rub on these guys is what really sets them apart.
Generously rub the seasoning (approximately 2 tablespoons per chop) on the top and bottom of the pork chops, as well as the sides. Refrigerate the seasoned pork chops for at least 4 hours.
Remove the chops from the refrigerator and allow them to sit at room temperature while you prepare your grill.
Turn the burners on your gas grill to HIGH and heat for at least 10 minutes before putting the meat on the grill. You want the grill to get as hot as possible – between 500 – 600 degrees Fahrenheit.
Place the pork chops on the grates. Cook them for 3 minutes and then flip. Repeat this step 2 more times. Cook for another 3 minutes and then remove the chops from the grill. The total cook time is 12 minutes.
Remove the chops from the grill and allow them to sit for at least 5 minutes before serving/cutting.
