Ingredients

all-purpose flour

boiling water
3 ½

sugar

whole milk

salted butter
melted

tablespoons + ½ cup
cocoa powder
divided

teaspoons
vanilla extract
Vanilla ice cream
optional garnish
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in the Crockpot except for 2 cups of sugar and ½ cup of cocoa powder. Mix thoroughly.
In a separate bowl, mix the reserved 2 cups of sugar and ½ cup of cocoa powder together. Sprinkle evenly over the top of the batter in the Crockpot.
Cover and cook on HIGH for 3–4 hours, or until the top looks set and slightly crusted.
Spoon into bowls and serve warm with vanilla ice cream, if desired.
