½teaspoonhoneyoptional
½teaspoonred chili flakes
Instructions
Place chicken pieces in a large bowl and add 1 tablespoon of the cajun seasoning,1 tablespoon oil, salt, and pepper. Set aside for 15 minutes.
Prepare the vegetables.
Heat a non-stick skillet on medium heat with the remaining oil. Add chicken and cook until chicken is cooked through, about 5 - 6 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
In the same skillet, add the onion and stir-fry on medium heat until tender. Add garlic, bell peppers, broccoli, and mushrooms. Season with salt, pepper, and 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning mix. Cook until the vegetables are fragrant.
Add butter and butter back into the skillet. Stir to melt butter.
Pour honey and sprinkle with chili flakes. Stir and cook for 1-2 minutes until heated through.
Remove and serve over rice, quinoa, or even on top of a bowl of pasta.
