Cookie Mix In a Jar is not only a delightful way to share holiday cheer, but also a fabulous cookie mix. Make a few batches to give away and one to keep for yourself.
Place the flour in the jar and add the baking soda and baking powder on top. Pack it nice and tight.
For extra neat layers, use a paper towel to clean the inside of the jar and the edges.
Add the sugar on top and pack it in tight.
Add the white chocolate chips and gently pack them in, followed by the nuts.
Place the fabric centered on top of the jar and use the tie of choice to secure it in place. (To make things easier, place the jar rim over the fabric to secure it all in place.)
Use pieces of string to attach a recipe card. Snip the excess string after that to make it look nice and neat.

Notes
Be careful while patting down the flour. It will want to poof up if you go too fast and it makes a mess.
It’s best to put the hole in the recipe cards in the upper left corner. This will allow the card to hang properly.
You may need to make some slight adjustments after you get everything tied on. It’s about impossible to get it perfect while tying it on.
The only jar size that works for these gifts is a wide-mouth quart jar. Do not use a regular mouth jar or a pint-size jar.
You can make your material squares a little smaller if desired. However, 7 inches works best.
