Homemade Chocolate Syrup
This homemade chocolate syrup is great on top of ice cream. It can also be used to make chocolate milk.

Ingredients

cocoa powder

sugar

teaspoon
salt

water

Tablespoon
vanilla
Instructions
Place cocoa powder, sugar, and salt in a medium-size saucepan and whisk until blended, being sure to break up any clumps.
Add water and whisk well. Turn heat on to medium and stir often.
Once mixture begins to boil, boil for 2 more minutes or until it begins to thicken.
Remove from heat and cool for 10 minutes.
Stir in vanilla and cool for about 45 minutes.
Pour into container and refrigerate.
