Easy Affogato
You don’t have to be fluent in Italian to make affogato. All you need is Folgers Black Silk coffee and some ice cream.

Ingredients
- ½ cup Folgers Black Silk
- 4 cups water
- 2 cups Halo Top vanilla ice cream
- sliced almonds optional
- chocolate shavings optional
Instructions
- Place Folgers Black Silk coffee grounds into the bottom of your press.
- Pour hot (but not boiling) water into the glass pot, leaving about an inch of room at the top. Stir the water and coffee.
- Put the plunger back on top of the glass pot, and be sure to turn the lid so it blocks the pour spout. Don’t lower the plunger. Just let the coffee brew for 4 minutes.
- Lower the plunger, slowly, all the way down to the bottom of the pot. Once you get the plunger all the way down, turn the lid to open the spout, and pour!
- For each serving, place approximately 1/2 cup of Halo Top Vanilla Bean ice cream in coffee cup. Pour coffee over top.
- Top with sliced almonds and chocolate shavings, if desired.
