This simple sweet potato casserole is sweet, rich, buttery, and creamy and is the perfect holiday side dish! 

Ingredients:

sweet potatoes

brown sugar

mini marshmallows

salted butter

salt

vanilla

cloves

cinnamon

Bring sweet potatoes to a boil over high heat and allow to cook for 15 minutes.

Mash together cooked potatoes, brown sugar, softened butter, cinnamon, cloves, salt, and vanilla.

Transfer the potato mixture into a greased 8×8” baking dish. Top with your marshmallows.

Bake the casserole in a 325°F oven for 35 minutes or until the marshmallows are slightly melted and golden brown.
