You only need three ingredients to make these buttermilk biscuits: self-rising flour buttermilk butter Butter is cut into flour and buttermilk is added to help combine it together.

The biscuit dough is patted out and then cut with a biscuit cutter or with the top of a cup.

Biscuits are then baked in a preheated oven for 11-12 minutes.

Brush them with melted butter after they have baked to take them to the next level.

You can even make them, freeze the unbaked dough, and then bake later.
