INGREDIENTS -----------------------------  vegetable oil ground beef onion garlic diced tomatoes ketchup mustard dark brown sugar tomato paste Worcestershire sauce vinegar spices cheese

Cook beef,  stirring often, until the meat crumbles and is no longer pink, about 5 to 7 minutes.

Add onion and garlic, and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.  Stir in the tomatoes, ketchup, Dijon, brown sugar, tomato paste, Worcestershire, vinegar, paprika, red pepper, and salt.

Simmer, stirring occasionally, until the sauce is slightly thickened, about 15 minutes.  Stir in 1 cup of shredded cheese.

Transfer the mixture to a 2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle the top with the remaining cheese and bake at 400°Fahrenheit until the cheese is melted, about 15 minutes.
