Making hard-boiled eggs just got a whole lot easier - with an Instant Pot pressure cooker, you can wave goodbye to boiling over and burned pots! No more worrying about getting your eggs done right.

To make hard-boiled eggs, all you need are eggs, water, and ice. That's it.

Insert your Instant Pot’s wire rack, stackable egg rack, or steamer basket into the pot, pour in 1 cup of water, and place a dozen eggs on the rack.

Put the Instant Pot lid on top and turn the steam valve to the sealed position. Select MANUAL and set the timer for 6 minutes.

When the timer is up, turn the valve to venting to quick release the pressure and allow the steam to escape. Carefully remove the eggs.

Immerse them in an ice water bath (a bowl of ice water). This step stops the cooking process and keeps the eggs from being overcooked.
