Maple Donuts

AIR FRYER Recipe 

These homemade maple-glazed spice donuts are sure to be a crowd pleaser!  Air fryers make it easy and quick to cook these doughnuts up without adding any oil or grease.

Bloom the yeast - combine warm milk, yeast, and 1 teaspoon of sugar in a small bowl.  Cover and let the mixture sit until foamy.

Make the dough - combine the dry ingredients.  Whisk briefly before adding your bloomed yeast mixture, egg, vanilla, and maple syrup.

Knead the dough.   Allow it to rise for 30 minutes. Shape the donuts and  allow them to rise for an additional 30 minutes.

Make maple glaze  by combining confectioners’ sugar, maple syrup, and softened butter. 

Spray the tops of your donuts with a bit of cooking spray before air frying them at 350°F for 3 minutes.

Allow the donuts to cool slightly before dipping the top of each into your maple glaze.
