The Beach Club in Gulf Shores

The best way to experience Gulf Shores is by staying in a beachfront condo, like those at The Beach Club. Enjoy spacious accommodations, stunning Gulf views, and a variety of amenities that make it the perfect destination for relaxation and fun by the coast. I speak from experience.

In the middle of September, we had an unforgettable stay at The Beach Club in Gulf Shores. Located near Fort Morgan, it was a great setting for a fun-filled family getaway. We indulged in delicious meals at local favorites like Tacky Jack’s and Lambert’s, as well as the resort’s own Coast Restaurant. While the guys enjoyed a day of fishing, the rest of us soaked up the sun on the beach. In the evenings, we made lasting memories crabbing just steps away from our condo—a perfect end to our short beach vacation.

Incredible Views of the Gulf

We stayed in Bristol 801, a three-bedroom, 3.5-bath condo with a spacious, full kitchen, dining table, and large balcony that offered front-row views of the stunning Gulf of Mexico.

Spacious, Home-Like Accommodations

Staying at The Beach Club feels like being at a home away from home. While we didn’t plan on cooking much, the fully equipped kitchen made it convenient to store snacks and drinks in the full-sized fridge.

The master bedroom in our condo even had its own private access to the balcony, where we spent our mornings watching the sunrise and spotting dolphins. (Did I mention that each condo has a great view of the Gulf?)

Perfect for Beach Lovers

Every condo is just steps away from the pristine sands of the Gulf, making it easy to start your day with an early morning walk on the beach or to take a nighttime stroll to search for crabs.

We highly recommend going in the off-season to experience warm, pleasant weather without the summer crowds—perfect for enjoying the beach and resort amenities at your own pace.

Dining Options

The Beach Club offers a variety of delicious dining options to satisfy every craving. For a more refined experience, there’s Coast Restaurant serving fresh seafood in a casual yet upscale atmosphere. If you prefer something laid-back, the Gulfside Bar & Grill by the main pool is perfect for grabbing a bite while soaking up the sun.

At The Village, near the entrance, there are even more choices. There are seasonal food trucks, and The Village Hideaway Restaurant serves up family favorites like pizzas, salads, wings – all the fun things to eat. For a sweet treat, The Village Creamery scoops out dreamy ice cream, where kids get a free scoop! (The kid in me couldn’t resist buyin a scoop, and as a resort guest, I saved 10% by charging it to my room—one of the perks of staying at The Beach Club.)

Resort Amenities at The Beach Club

The Beach Club offers a wide range of amenities including multiple outdoor pools with chaise lounges perfect for soaking up the sun, as well as an indoor swimming pool for year-round enjoyment.

For those who don’t want to stray from their fitness regimen, there is a fitness center. For the rest of us who would rather unwind with a rejuvenating treatment, there is an on-site spa.

If Mother Nature decides to rain on your beach day, you can head to the game room inside of the clubhouse and play a few video games.

For sports enthusiasts, the resort features tennis courts, a volleyball court, and even outdoor chess and checkers. If you’re driving an electric vehicle, you don’t have to fret about being roughly 10 miles from Gulf Shores proper – there are a couple of EV charging stations on site.

Want to spend the day as a beach bum like we did but don’t want to lug your beach gear? No worries. You can rent chairs and umbrellas right on the beach at the resort.

The Beach Club is a great destination for groups looking to rent together and enjoy a memorable getaway. With spacious condos that accommodate multiple guests, including large living areas, full kitchens, and private balconies, there’s plenty of room for everyone. It’s the best way to travel as a small group.

Full Disclosure: During our stay at The Beach Club, we noticed a few concerns with our accommodation. We promptly reached out to the resort, and they were quick to address the issues.

Advice for Fellow Travelers: If you encounter any concerns during your stay, informing the resort management as soon as possible is always a good idea. This not only allows them to rectify the situation promptly but also ensures that your stay is as comfortable as possible. Open communication can help resolve any issues and enhance your overall experience. (Also, it might protect you from being charged for any pre-existing conditions.)

Overall, after experiencing both Spectrum Resorts, Turquoise Place and The Beach Club, it will be hard to stay anywhere else. The luxury, comfort, and amenities at these resorts set the bar so high that future trips may never quite compare.
