Parasailing Tips
Before taking off, make sure to listen carefully to the instructions provided by your guide. They will give you important information on how to properly use your equipment, what to expect during the flight, and any safety precautions to be aware of.
Dress appropriately for the occasion. Wear comfortable clothing that won’t restrict your movement or fall off during the flight. You may also want to bring along sunglasses and sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun.
Communicate with your guide throughout the flight if you feel uncomfortable or have any questions. Let them know if you want to take a dip in the water or if you prefer to stay dry. (We had a dry takeoff as well as a dry landing.)
DON’T bring any loose objects or valuables with you on the flight.
At the end of your trip, don’t forget to tip the crew. Twenty percent is customary.
By following these dos and don’ts, you’ll be able to fully enjoy the experience of parasailing without any worries. Up next, we’ll discuss what to expect while soaring over Key West.
