Originally established in 1910 as the First National Bank Building, it once served as the headquarters for Roanoke’s first bank. The architecture of the building bears the influences of Greek Revival and French Ecole des Beaux-Arts styles, making it a symbol of modernity during its construction and earning it a place on the National Register of Historic Places.

I was impressed with the beauty of the hotel and all of the staff were friendly. We enjoyed the comfortable bed in the spacious room. As for future stays, I would gladly consider returning as a solo guest. However, for guests with mobility challenges, especially in emergency situations, accessibility concerns should be taken into account when making reservations.
