The Trevi Fountain in Rome, Italy, is the most famous fountain in the world.  It lies at the junction of three roads that mark the terminal point of the aqueducts that supplied water to ancient Rome.  In Las Vegas inside the Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace is a replica of the famous fountain and a restaurant named after the famed fountain – TREVI.

Voted one of the 10 Best Italian Restaurants in Las Vegas by USA Today, it was easy to see why.  My family and I had the honor of dining at TREVI while we were in Vegas recently and had a great dining experience.

There are two seating options – by the fountain or inside.  Sitting by the fountain, guests can enjoy their authentic Italian meals in a patio environment.  Or for a more intimate experience, guests can opt to dine inside the restaurant.

My family and I chose the latter option which was nice for our dining experience.  It did, however, make it more difficult to take pictures of our food which was quite incredible.

We started by ordering Melanzane Fritte – thinly sliced eggplant crisps with marinara.  They were perfectly prepared and made some members of my family reconsider their thoughts on eggplant.  They were delicious and a nice way to start our meal.

For his main course, my husband ordered Gnocchi Modenese – ricotta and potato gnocchi with real buffalo mozzarella cheese and fresh tomato sauce.  That is real mozzarella cheese.

My daughter and I opted for the Linguine Ai Fruitti Di Mare – TREVI’s signature dish of lobster, shrimp, scallops, tomatoes, and scallions in a seafood cream sauce.  It was divine.

Not pictured is my son’s Salmon Picatta.  It was so good that he ate it all.  We only had a little bit of room left over for dessert and it was tough to decide on just one dessert, so we opted for and split a slice of Italian Cream Cake.
