How To Make Smoothie Bowls

For this simple, delicious smoothie bowl, you need the following ingredients:

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 2 cups frozen strawberries (around 8 strawberries)
  • 1 cup milk (or plant-based alternative)
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup toasted oats
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup toasted oats (or granola)
  • Two strawberries, chopped

To make the base of the bowl, place a frozen banana, frozen strawberries, milk, a little vanilla, and some toasted oats into a blender and puree until it is smooth.

The smoothie should be a little thick but still pourable.  If it is not, add a few more frozen strawberries and puree again until smooth.  Pour the smoothie mixture into two bowls and top with oats, strawberries, and shredded coconut.
