DoubleTree Resort Fun
At the DoubleTree Resort, there are two generous-sized pools. There’s no need to pack your beach towel because the resort has plenty for guests to use.
At the adult pool, there are plenty of lounge chairs where you can soak up some sunshine or, if you dare, pull out your laptop and get some work finished. If the idea of working is too much, head over to Barefoot Bar and order a cocktail or soda, and then go back to your lounge chair and shake it off. At Barefoot, you can also order lunch and enjoy it poolside.
The other pool is child-friendly and surrounded by native palms and is an oasis away from it all. There’s even a hot tub nearby for parents to enjoy while keeping an eye on their little ones. On Saturdays, guests can enjoy a Dive-In Movie at the family fun pool.
The resort offers outdoor activities that are fun for kids of all ages.
Even if the weather is not cooperating, kids can still create and play at Hideaway Cove. For a small fee, kids can participate in crafts and other special activities geared just for them.
Guest Rooms
There are over 1,000 rooms at the DoubleTree Resort. All of the rooms come with a 42-inch HDTV and the amenities that you need to make your stay enjoyable: an in-room coffeemaker, digital keys, hairdryer, in-room safe, and high-speed internet.

The PUREยฎ Wellness rooms have special air-handling units and medical-grade air purifiers that remove up to 99.99% of pollutants and allergens, exceeding HEPA standards, so every guest can breathe easily and rest peacefully. All of the surfaces are treated to reduce allergens and resist molds, spores, and dust mites.
A two-room suite would be ideal for those who need more room. There you can spread out in the large living room with a sofa bed, get some work done at the work desk, enjoy a drink at the wet bar, eat at the in-room dining table, and cover up in plush terry towels in the bathroom.
The DoubleTree Orlando at SeaWorld hasn’t forgotten those with special needs. Their accessible guest rooms feature additional clearance so guests can get around their rooms with ease. Roll-in showers or bathtubs with grab bars are available, allowing for a relaxing and worry-free visit.

Dining Options at DoubleTree
There are five dining options at the DoubleTree: room service, The Market, Barefoot Bar, Sonoma Lobby Bar, and Laguna.
The Market is ideal for grabbing a quick bite or snack. The Market serves Starbucks coffee, fresh pastries, made-to-order New York deli-style sandwiches, pizzas, flatbreads, and salads.
Laguna is the resort’s premier dining option.
Guests can choose to dine inside the cozy restaurant or on ceiling-fan-lined verandas with patio seating in wicker chairs.
Laguna serves a bountiful breakfast daily and specializes in serving an all-day menu offering a wide variety of appetizers, salads, signature sandwiches, steak, and seafood in a casual atmosphere.
The buffet truly has something for everyone, from gluten-free options to healthy options to not-so-healthy options.
There are plenty of vegetarian and low-carb options at the buffet.
Alberto Correa, the Executive Chef at the resort, has won numerous awards.
Chef Correa and his team do an excellent job and creating beautiful and delicious dishes. They also do an incredible job with the catering, too.
Above are some of the dishes that I got to sample at the resort: shrimp tempura, ahi tuna, steak, and spinach salad.
Their desserts are equally impressive, such as the cake pops pictured above and the dessert shooters shown below.
Business Meetings
The resort has 100,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space. The beautiful, open, and airy pavilion is the perfect location to start your event off with fresh pastries and breakfast treats.
The culinary team is also skilled at creating the perfect mimosa, with unique twists/tastes such as strawberry, cranberry, and mango.
The staff really knows how to go out of the way to make events special, from excellent customer service to little touches like fresh, beautiful floral arrangements.
The Business Center
The business center has a UPS store, Expedia Local Expert, and photocopying service to help you get the job done as well as to plan some leisure fun, too.
