Recipe Notes and Tips

  • Look for the “Family Size” package of ravioli. This will make a LOT of fried ravioli. Of course, you can easily halve this recipe and use an 8-ounce package of ravioli instead.
  • For the cheese, you can use bagged cheese or parmesan cheese from the shaker. The shaker usually works best.
  • Spray olive oil helps the ravioli get crispy on the outside. It also makes them appear more golden brown and helps with overall taste and presentation.
  • The cook time may vary if you use larger ravioli.
  • Because the ravioli were dipped in an egg mixture, be sure to discard any leftover breadcrumb mixture.
  • Use any type of refrigerated ravioli you wish for this recipe. For best results, use ravioli which is plump.
