When presented with the opportunity to try the new TAZO® Chai Latte K-Cup® pods, I doubt that I could have responded any faster than I did. I was already a fan of TAZO® Chai and happy to try the new K-Cup® Chai Latte in my Keurig®. It’s a great new simple way to make a creamy, spicy cup of delicious chai latte. Both simple and delicious are right up my alley.
Talk About Simple
There are just a few simple steps to take to enjoy a rich, creamy cup of chai latte.
- Pour the included packet into your mug. This packet is made with sugar, milk, cream, honey, and natural flavors – it is the creamy part of the latte.
2. Place the TAZO® Chai Latte K-Cup® pod into your Keurig®. The pod has black tea, ginger, black pepper, cinnamon, cardamom, clove, star anise, and natural flavors. The spicy goodness is steeped in 5,000 years of Indian history. If you haven’t tried it yet, you should. The flavors are part sweet, part spicy and totally unexpected. And I should add fabulous, too!
- Select the 8 ounce size on your Keurig® and hit start. Once it has finished brewing, stir and enjoy.
As adults, sometimes we need to take a time out. Stopping and savoring a cup of chai latte is a good way to relax and recharge. For me, it is a good way to enjoy a delicious treat from around the world without leaving home.
What’s really sweet about the opportunity I have been given is that I learned that New York Times Bestselling author and host Padma Lakshmi has partnered with TAZO® to celebrate the release of the new K-Cup® pods. (You can learn more by visiting TAZO.com/chai.) If you are wondering why that is sweet, well – it’s because she developed recipes that pair perfectly with a cup of chai and you can get them at TAZO.com/chai/pairings.
I made Padma’s Cinnamon Tea Cookies and was surprised at how easy and how good they turned out. I am adding her recipe to my list of go-to recipes – you know, the ones that you can always rely on to turn out good.
TAZO® Chai Latte and Padma’s Cinnamon Tea Cookies – it’s the adult version of milk and cookies to me. After all, we all need to take a break in our day and chill out. I can’t think of a better way than with a cup of chai latte and a cookie, can you?
I wish that I could hop on a plane and explore India, but unfortunately I can’t. Until then, I will enjoy my cup of chai latte and cinnamon tea cookie and dream on.
