I went to WalMart to buy some groceries and this is what I saw when I went to grab a couple of boxes of Jimmy Dean Redbox breakfasts. Look how far back the Meat Lovers Bowls were. They were nearly out. I guess other people must have heard that February is National Hot Breakfast month and went there with the same intention that I had.
Fortunately for me I was able to snag a couple of boxes before they were all gone.
My son loves to have scrambled eggs for breakfast. When I make them, I usually add some onion, bell pepper, and meat. But there are days that I don’t have time to stop and make breakfast. It’s on days like those that I heat up a Jimmy Dean Redbox breakfast.
I re-plate the meal into one of my bowls and voila! My son thinks I took the time to make him his favorite. (Just kidding. He knows, but at least it looks more like homemade when it’s served in a pretty dish.)
My child must be going through a growth spurt – the other night he ate seven slices of pizza and on another night he ate more food at a Japanese restaurant than anyone at our hibachi table! The 24 grams of protein in each Meat Lovers Bowl is great for his growing body.
While February may be the “official” month for hot breakfasts, every day is a good day for a hot, delicious and nutritious breakfast.
