Dieting can pose some challenges when you feel like there aren’t many options. I have scoured Pinterest and have created a Keto board for all of you who are giving the low carb diet known as the “keto diet” a try.
What is a keto diet?
A ketogenic diet throws the body into ketosis, a state where the body begins to burn its own fuel sources – fat. The body will naturally burn carbohydrates first, so in order to go into ketosis, one has to consume very little carbohydrates. (I personally do not recommend this diet and recommend that you read this article by WebMD first.) Before starting any diet, especially one that is so limiting of one of the macronutrients that our brains and bodies need, I recommend that you talk to your physician.
Now for those who are going to proceed on a ketogenic diet…
